Design and Interface Management

Manage supplier and contractor selection process (see Preparation of Technical Specifications and Tender Documents), follow up on order and purchasing stages

Prepare, control, approve, continuously monitor the implementation of detailed work programs, material / equipment supply programs, budgets and financial plans and revise them when necessary

Proceeds of work to monitor compliance with approved work program, material / equipment supply program, budget and financial plans, to determine critical manufacturing / material supply / permit / approval activities, to verify with up-to-date information, to establish and operate a cost control system, to make planned - realized analysis, to detect deviations, to accelerate works and to take necessary precautions regarding deviations

To prepare, control, approve, revise when necessary, continuously monitor and inspect Quality Assurance / Quality Control Plans (procedures, work methods and control forms)

To monitor, control, coordinate and manage daily construction and field activities

To control and approve the conformity of materials, equipment, facilities and labor provided by suppliers and contractors in terms of quantity and quality, to ensure that relevant warranty documents are obtained

To perform, continuously monitor, control, evaluate and approve periodic and final inspections, measurements and tests carried out in the field or laboratory

To determine physical realizations and quantities related to completed / approved / accepted works, to prepare, examine, correct and approve monthly and final entitlements when necessary

To monitor, update the list and status / competencies of the contractors' machinery, equipment, tools / tools and technical personnel to ensure that they are on duty on time and in a proper manner and to give instructions regarding the situations to be corrected

Contractor facilities, workshops, warehouses, etc. to check, evaluate and give instructions regarding situations to be corrected

To monitor that insurances are made by suppliers and contractors at the requested time and scope, to monitor the functionality of policies

To determine and analyze risks related to construction and field activities, to make evaluations according to developments, to carry out management activities to prevent or minimize risks

To carry out necessary examinations and evaluations in case of changes and/or claims (extension of time, additional payment, new price determination, etc.), to prepare change orders, to inform the employer and customers of their opinions and to carry out the necessary work for their finalization

To resolve any technical, administrative and legal problems, disputes and disagreements that may arise between the employer / customer and contractors / suppliers to assist the employer / customer in solving the problem, to provide opinions, to prepare the necessary technical documents and to ensure coordination

To ensure communication and coordination between all project stakeholders (employer / customer, contractors / suppliers, public institutions and organizations, financing institutions, non-governmental organizations, the public, etc.)

To develop and execute the documentation, record and archive system

To ensure that the documents that need to be submitted by suppliers and contractors are submitted on time; review submitted documents, have them revised when necessary, and approve them

Prepare, approve and archive all kinds of records (minutes, survey, attachment, plan, report, construction site book, etc.) in order to properly document the progress and implementation of construction and field activities

Follow up correspondence with suppliers and contractors; review, evaluate and ensure that incoming correspondence is answered

Report the progress and future of construction and field activities to employers and customers in a comprehensive and regular (periodic) manner in all aspects (scope, quality, duration and financial status of supplier and contractor activities and future projection)
